Kubyz Zaynetdinov

This Bashkir jaw harp by M.M. Zaynetdinov is a simple instrument with a rich and dynamic sound. The reed is slightly raised above the frame, allowing you to extract sound with one breath (inhalation), and its elasticity/length/thickness provides a stable sound in both slow and fast play. The kubyz has its own unique timbre, even the main tone of which changes easily with breathing (to which it reacts especially strongly) and articulation.
Not a bad instrument, pleasant to use and easy to learn.
