Kubyz Zagretdinov "Traditional" (old)
Bashkir Kubyzes /
Oberton Pro Lab measurements:
Reed hardness: 200 gf (?)
Overall dimensions: 88x39x5 mm (?)
Archived model (?)
The traditional Kubyz of the Bashkir master Robert Zagretdinov can be called an entry-level model. Dense steel construction, wide reed and a large gap forgive inaccuracies when hitting, and a limited range of sounds will help to focus only on the basic techniques of the playing. The reed is quite tough and requires considerable effort, but it also withstands strong strokes better. The sound of jaw harp is muffled, smoothed, weakly vibrating.

In 2011, this kubyz was replaced by an updated, significantly improved variant.
