This type of maultrommel is the latest development of Josef Jofen, presented as having a wide range of overtones and full volume. In fact, the same reed is used in jaw harp as in Nr.10Together with the similarity of sizes and working segments, the dec does not allow us to talk about a significant difference between these instruments.

Maultrommel got his name from the name of the area where the workshop is located.

On test records, jaw harps of different settings are used.
