5-ton jaw harp instrument, combining the usual tempered system with overtoned. It is only partially similar to an ordinary jaw harp and, in terms of sound extraction, the most noticeable differences are the percussion technique and holding. You can pull the reeds only in one way - by bending your finger. The frame is not applied to the teeth, but having a significant mass allows the vibrations to continue for quite a long time, and you need to hold it with both hands. Touching your lips to the body amplifies the sound, but simply holding it near your mouth can modulate the sound. The device responds weaker to articulation than a good classical instrument, especially when held at a distance. Namely, this method allows during the transition from one reed to another to preserve the sound of the previous one and, thereby, emphasize the harmony of the tempered sound or play with chords - which is impossible with a similar playing on several ordinary jaw harps held in one hand. Respiratory effects disappear almost completely. But the most important difference - the musical philosophy - compared to the usual jaw harp, there is another dimension.

The standard setting for the CH800 is Do Re Fa Sol La. To order, a instrument with a different system can be made.
