Choose a jaw harp
Ivan Namitarov
Ivan Ivanovich Namitarov is a maker of Yakut khomuses from the village of Churapcha in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
The catalogue includes both traditional instruments, such as the “Churapcha”, and exclusive instruments made from rare materials: the IN1347 khomus is made of bloomery iron.
In 2022, together with other makers from Yakutia, Namitarov contributed one of his khomuses as a prize for the laureates of the Sakha Republic children’s competition “Sound, My Khomus!”
