Viktor Dyomin is a jaw harp maker from Luhansk. He came to instrument making as a player: after seeing a jaw harp in a film, he began playing and later started making his own instruments, drawing on his professional experience as a factory metalworker.

During his first five years of making, Dyomin experimented with numerous constructions and approaches to sound and assembled a personal collection of about a dozen different jaw harps. Meeting Evgeny Kalmykov in 2011 encouraged him to develop his craft further. Dyomin is drawn to tonal variety and continually refines existing designs while exploring new ideas.

Victor interested jew's harps briefly saw this instrument in some movie, started playing and soon wanted to expand its arsenal.
