Hungarian Dorombs

Hungarian dorombs are produced by one manufactory by Zoltan Siladi, who has been manufacturing Jew's harps for decades. With all the variety of shapes, sizes, names, and prices, the essence of the craftsman's dorombs is more or less always the same: other than a few side experiments, most “models” only use two main types of tongues, which differ in how high the pitch is and a particularly random divergence of qualities. All of this creates the illusion of true diversity, but in reality it has nothing to do with the existing names and shapes but is considerably random in nature.
