"Small" Kubyz

A small, tall and loud jaw harp with a crystal clear sound and a hard reed is the best suited for overtone play. Smoothness of timbre, unique by jaw harp standards. The ring rustles slightly when touched, and a strong stroke "from itself" can generate sounds, but this does not affect the ability to hear and use the maximum number of overtones. Like all jaw harps of the master, starting with "standard" (in height), "small" is incredibly musical.

The kubyz have a rare technical drawback - over time, depending on the intensity of use, the gaps increase and the high components of the timbre go away, the piercing and volume decrease. The average service life of the instrument is about a year, after which the frame arms can be pressed back on their own (if there is enough accuracy).
