Temir-Khomus Khakassian master V. Kokov, who recently appeared on the market, managed to gain general recognition due to the quality of processing, rich sound and ease of handling. The frame of a special shape made of hard metal does not deform during intense play and allows you to minimize the gap between the reed and frame arms, providing greater dynamics and brightness. A very wide reed simplifies the playing, and the ring at the end makes the strokes pleasant finger, disposing to fast strokes (as well as due to the elasticity of the metal).
In 2009, the master changed their design: the reed became softer, the sound more crackling, and the responsiveness of the instrument increased to a very high level. The new model is very similar to Yakut kopieva. In addition, now the jaw harp comes complete with a closed case.
