Baldr ("master") - in Norse mythology, a young, beautiful and kind god of the summer sun, the son of Odin and Frigg.
This mondharp, with its small size, boasts a quiet, but low sound with a very pleasant timbre; the sound is velvety and an amazing songwriter for the "low frequency". The instrument has to slow or medium-speed play, unhurried overtones. The thickness of the frame at its relatively short length provides greater stability and allows for deviations in holding strength or the direction of stroke on the reed, which makes the jaw harp easy to use even for beginners.
