The design of this Mongolian jaw harp deserves to be placed in hallwayBut we will limit ourselves to a brief description. At the first strokes to the reed, there is a natural surprise - whether the fork is plugged into the socket - for the sound of jaw harp does not make. But, unlike its potential counterparts from the board of honor, jaw harp begins to sound when the force of the stroke increases and makes it quite unexpected. The focus is in the angle of flexion of the reed from the plane of the frame: with weak strokes, it vibrates, simply not reaching the frame arms. When moving with a greater amplitude, not the quietest sound appears with a color typical of “bent” jaw harps. The most interesting thing is that the sample in question reacts to breathing with an incredible force for the puny-looking, giving a powerful, loud sound. But with the required effort to extract it, the frame and the reed begin to behave unstable, it is quite difficult to cope with it.
