Chinese “kouxians” entail one of the most extraordinary types of Jew's harps, combining the acoustics of the [laminar] Jew's harp without the ideology of an overtone instrument Meanwhile, the most widespread and available models are a unique phenomenon in the Jew's harp world thanks to a humorous fact – it’s the only instruments that are not manufactured in the region that they are “attributed” to. Traditional attachment is especially strong and pronounced in keeping them where they were originally made in the Vietnamese section.

Warning! Overwhelming majority of jaw harps presented are single pieces or made by hand, in very small quantities, instruments. There is no jaw harp factories exists; every one is unique in details, in different degree.
