Vladimir Potkin began jew's harps producing in 1987 year in Gorno-altaysk and since then constantly improving this model and manufacturing process. The first five years of master he engaged in experiments and copied the wrong tools, and in 1993 year not only formed a familiar image of all Altai komusa but polished the technology of its production, allowing to minimize time spent at the most "boring" operation. Tools are made poluru?nym method of forming on specially designed copyrights machines, and further refinement and adjustment-manually the craftsman personally. This enables very high jew's harps stability and sound homogeneity with excellent price/quality ratio.
Warning! Overwhelming majority of jaw harps presented are single pieces or made by hand, in very small quantities, instruments. There is no jaw harp factories exists; every one is unique in details, in different degree.
