jaw harp with a massive frame and a contrastingly light and soft reed is made very neatly based on Hungarian dorombs and has a loud, moderately rich sound and high sensitivity. This design is one of the easiest and most suitable for the first jaw harp steps, but the presence of a constant background sound and a strong rustle from touching a finger makes the jaw harp not very musical.
