Trident

Vietnamese cast jaw harp "Trident" is a heavy construction of brass, combining three jaw harps of different tonality. The lengths of their reeds are 58, 65 and 86 mm, respectively, one of them, the central - bass, and two at the edges - medium-frequency. The reeds of all are moderately soft, wide and not dangling with oblique strokes - it is easy to hit them. All three parts are well managed in different ways.

However, changing jaw harps during the playing, especially fast, most likely will not work. When the jaw harp is removed from the teeth, the sound almost immediately fades - this is not a self-playing air Kou Xiang. If you hone the movements and minimize the pause between the change of the note, there is another problem - the vibrating instrument is difficult to bring to the teeth without the risk of a series of microstrokes on the enamel. And beginners will find it difficult even to tear the playing instrument from their teeth without the above-described effect.
