Parmupilli, tuned to notes ranging from A (La) subcontractava to D# (Re#) counteroctave, are among the lowest-frequency jaw harps, delivering the main tone almost to the limit of audibility. Of course, the instrument of such power is perceived by ear only high-frequency components, and from the bottom remains rather air oscillation and soft vibration. The Estonian craftsman knows his business and produces very high-quality instruments, with a precisely adjusted reed, a comfortable and durable frame. Playing on such a low-frequency is very simple; the soft reed provides a long duration of single sound and confident behavior at low and medium speeds. The sensitivity of the instrument is very high, it is just pleasant to use it. Strikes in both directions are no different.
Great jaw harp with an interesting sound - for special effects. We recommend to lovers of unusual sounds.
