Maranzano cast 10 cm

This steel "donut" is significantly different in sound from Italian bent-forged jaw harps; the material and geometry of the reed give a very low - at the limit of perception sound with soft mechanical vibrations. The timbre is clean and pleasant, but very quiet, and the controllability, dynamics and variety of published shades are close to the lower limit of requirements for conscious play.
