Yakutsk master, specializing in knives, hamuses and jewelry, Roman Gotovatsev in 1991 took second place in the international competition of manufacturers of khomus, and at the same event in 2009 received the title of best master performer.
Roman Gotov's large khomus has a full spectrum of frequencies and is quite versatile in terms of sound extraction. The timbre is slightly crackling, the sound is deep - the bottoms are enough; it is controlled easily and effortlessly. There is nothing to talk about – everything is there, and everything is fine. It is a very balanced instrument for constant play.
