Khristoforov Khomus with Engraving

Khristoforov's medium-sized khomus (about 9 cm) has a not very loud, clean sound, a hard reed and allows you to extract both quiet, smooth sounds, and loud and more vibrating. The structure is inflexible, the reed does not hang. At its end, a standard rounding, providing soft contact with the finger, which is very useful, since to rock this jaw harp you need to strike with sufficient force.

Especially good on this jaw harp is a very fast playing with articulation. In alternating strokes, the sensations resemble strokes on a tightly strained drum - the finger itself bounces off the reed and returns back; when all the excess muscles are relaxed, harmony with the instrument occurs. He will not notice low-intensity breathing at all, but he will react in the best way to strong currents, demonstrating a wide dynamic range.
