"Melodic" Komus

"Melodic" jaw harps, created in St. Petersburg by a master from Altai, are a magnificent example of a very rare type of instrument - having a smooth, musical timbre. At the same time, neither sensitivity, nor volume, nor fullness of the spectrum, nor mechanics were affected, and even keeping them is not only simple, but also convenient thanks to a rigid frame and flat bevels on narrow frame arms. The latter also simplifies articulation. Tall, singing, light jaw harps, which have almost no analogues, except for single copies, sometimes obtained by chance from other masters. The only thing you can find fault with is a barely perceptible extraneous background - but with the available level of controllability and distinguishability of overtones, this spoonful of tar just lies next to a barrel of honey.
