The most important thing is that the design of the reed is designed specifically for complex and fast versatile strokes - unlike most jaw harps with a large reed trigger and ring, the komuses of the Barnaul master behave obediently and each stroke is rosary. Large, massive frames conveniently lie in the hand and on the teeth and with minimal gaps, providing a wide range, high sensitivity and ease of sound extraction, very resistant to compression.

The "big" komus differs from the standard material of the reed - the timbre is softer, without bright crack.
