Description
A case for narrow jaw harps with a frame up to 90 mm long.
The Altai people revered the shaman (kama) as a mediator between people and spirits, they asked him for help when the balance between man and nature was disturbed. They sought wise advice and consolation from him, they trusted him with healing physical and mental wounds. The shaman's assistants during the shamanic ritual are a drum and a komus. With them, he goes to the world of spirits, closed to ordinary people. On the case is depicted Ulzya - the Knot of Happiness, on the end - an Owl - a symbol of Wisdom. The leather lock is fastened with a symbol of Faith - a bead.
