"Yamanigan" Vargan

At first, the sound of this jaw harp may seem simple to an inexperienced player. Unlike many of its bigger brothers, it does not unleash a volcanic eruption or a fireworks display at the touch of a button. Its strength lies in that simplicity: you can create your own fireworks, whenever and however your imagination suggests. Yamanigan lets you shape the music yourself instead of merely setting off a song already built into the instrument. The balance between its overtones is responsive and alive, a rare quality in modern jaw harps. It is also very easy to handle, with comfortable reed stiffness, excellent mechanics and a convenient frame shape. Unwanted sounds are minimal: there is a slight background noise, but it is not distracting.

A small instrument with great potential. Ideal for beginners.
