描述

The national name of the jaw harp in Kyrgyzstan is Temir-Ooz-Komuz; the first word - "temir" - means that the instrument is made of metal. There are also wooden komuzes, they add "burner" to the name. In addition, there is a folk string plucked instrument "komuz". It is in the form of a komuz and made the case of this jaw harp...

The Temir-Komuz itself is a somewhat sloppy steel structure, but in sound it approaches the standard Kyrgyz models. Due to the rough surface treatment and sharp edges, its “souvenir” is not the most pleasant for the lips jaw harp, and the thin reed requires attention when hit. Despite these shortcomings, positive qualities prevail. Among them - a bright sound, a large dynamic range (when pumping air, the instrument gives out sharp loud sounds) and ease of handling. Perhaps this model is best controlled by breathing; articulation is also not bad.

In the collection, such an authentic product in one of the most exotic (for sure) cases will look good. And for a constant playing, standard Sydykov models will be much more convenient to the touch, not to mention Batyrkanov’s concert ones.
