Fomenkov's "Upper Tundra" Vargan

jaw harp with a very hard reed and a smooth sound. The timbre is deaf, especially with weak strokes; with increasing volume, piercing appears. The instrument is tight (which, together with rapid attenuation, complicates the playing), but songy.
