Jews harp perfectly corresponds to all the beginners' ideas about what a jews harp should be - easy to use, affordable, not too high or low. To this we add that the mechanics of this model are quite successful and will allow to develop the correct stroke, and the evenness of the sound is sufficient to learn to intone also. There are harps louder and cleaner, and more stable, and more fun, but in this price range VD1029 is the best choice for both "try" and for learning simplest techniques.
